Hearts and Stars Weekend

Make either a cushion or a small quilt, that could have a valentine twist, or a board carrying  bag. Possibly recycling old jeans, shirts, with hearts and stars thrown in.  I have made several denim cushions from recycled including a lovely floor cushion that the dogs absolutely loved.  Add the odd dog or cat, cow ,horse or whatever motif you would like.
Piecing and appliqué tips with the aim to finish the cushion in the day or 2 days, to include hand and machine quilting and decoration.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Basic sewing kit , board and cutting equip if available
Sewing machine in good working order with instruction book
Selection of fabrics whatever you would like to use, could include jeans, old wool jumper
