Cowslip Diary – A Year in Machine Appliqué

Available Dates
Come and turn Janine’s illustrations for the Cowslip 2027 Diary into stitch using her special method of free machine appliqué.
These can be used as individual creations or you could turn them into a wonderful quilt.
Requirements:
Sewing machine, (with ability to put feed dog down or cover) in good working order with manual
Open toed darning foot
Background fabric of your choosing (we would recommend a neutral cotton/linen or calico)
Scraps of fabric to use for all the detail
Dark 60 or 50w thread for drawing with a pack of size 80 needles
At least a metre of stitch & tear
Sharp small scissors for trimming (Janine recommends Karen J Buckley red curved blade as these trim very close)
Pencil to draw with – lightbox, if you have one
General sewing kit for machine sewing
