Join Jo for 2 days to start this lovely full-size quilt using French General and other fabrics.  Or you can just decide to make the centre 20” block and make it into a hanging or cushion/pillow.  The cost of the pattern is £20, which we will contact you for payment prior to the workshop.
Jo’s version of the quilt is based on pink browns murky colours, including Kaari’s new check collection she gave me some small amounts like the picture with a touch of green and vintage, however you could make a blue version with the French General Sacre Blue collection.
We will cover all different hand appliqué techniques, including folded, rolled and bias stems, perfect circles and ruched flowers, layered flowers, leaves.  My own version of embroidery for things like Queen Anne’s lace and very small flowers and grasses.
Please advise if you would like a kit. You will need to bring your basic sewing kit small sharp scissors, applique pins, and fine applique thread.
