Make a traditional Bee Skep with Gay Meyrick from West Cornwall.  £65 including 1 stook of uncombined straw
Gay comes highly recommended by cousin who has already done the course and doing it again. Whether you are Bee Keeper or just want to make one for decoration like me, this will be hard work but fun, ending up with a traditional Skep strong enough to stand on, used by Bee keepers to collect swarms.
Wear suitable work clothes as we will be in the barn,
Requirements
Gay will provide a tube for making straw roll for you to use on the day.
I stook uncombined straw included in the fee.
I flat screw driver for poking straw into tube
Possibly and old work apron
Roll of 2/3 ply sisal string and a large eye darning needle suitable to thread the sisal through.
