Fabric requirements for the quilt:
One layer cake OR forty-two 10in squares
42 5in squares for the block centres – we used
1½ metres of a panel to fussy-cut our centres.
1m border fabric (not needed on day)
50cms binding fabric (not needed on day)
Choosing your layer cake
Jo has the fabulous Merry Little Christmas layer cake by Tilda which we used in our quilt plus she has the panel to fussy-cut the centres.  You can of course use any other layer cake or you can cut your own forty-two 10in squares from your stash.
