Spring has Sprung

Make an embroidered collage and appliqué picture anticipating the joys of Spring. With the birds, blossom, gardens and countryside coming to life there is plenty of inspiration to create your own seasonal celebration. The day will feature creative use of scrapbag fabrics, exploration of stitches on your machine and applique birds/animals/flowers.
Templates will be available and help is at hand with drawing/design if needed.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Sewing machine
A selection of coloured threads.
Any fabrics you think are relevant to your picture
Scissors
A small hand sewing kit: pins, needles and a few silks for finishing touches.
