Sisters Quilt – Petra Prins

The quilt: Sisters” was published in my book “Promenade dans un Jardin Hollandais”. For the new book, that will come out in 2017 her twin sister will have the honour to make her appearance. In class we will make the center piece. This center piece can be used for the existing Sisters quilt or in 2017 for her twin sister. In this quilt I will be using different prints from my Dutch Heritage collections; Mary’s Secret Garden, Indian Rhapsody. Pomegranate, Nellore and Surat.   Petra will be bringing fabrics to sell.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
·      1 fat quarter Indian Rhapsody coral
·      0.6m Mary’s Secret Garden blue (or any other fabric with 2x 8 repeats)
·      0.4m Surat tea dye
·      1 fat quarter Nellore brown
·      1 fat quarter Pomegranate olive
              ·      Sharp scissors (+old ones to cut the plastic template sheet)
              ·      Plastic template sheet
              ·      Needles and pins
              ·      Any good application thread
              ·      A marking pen
              ·      If you have one; a light box
