This will be a new version of my Advent Quilt – Cost is £50 per day with £10 for the pattern, which will be added to your booking, if you are doing both days this will only be one charge.
For those doing a both days there is time in between for sewing! I sold my advent quilt inspired by Norway during covid and really miss it so am doing an updated version, using some of the new Tilda Christmas Fabric, every door opens to reveal a charm that you decorate the tree with, including me we all have these collections of special badges, buttons, broches which make lovely tree decorations.  This can be either bonded applique or even better hand you then get much more depth in the doors and windows, mine is going to have a twist with some patchwork cows, and a Norwegian Stave Church.

Requirements:

We do have kits available in the shop

• Background snowflake fabric 28 ½ x 12 ½”
• Background star fabric 28 ½” square
• Print fabric for inner border, 2 strips 1 ½ x 28 ½”, 2 strips 1 ½ x 42 ½”
• Linen fabric for outer border, 2 strips 1 ½ x 30 ½”, 2 strips 1 ½ x 46 ½”
• Scraps of about 25 fabrics (stripes, plaids, checks)
• 2 ftq’s for large house, eaves and roofs
• Mix of fabrics for wallpaper, bed, sheet.
• Scraps of Christmas prints
• Scraps for animals
• Green for tree ftq
• Sewing machine in good working order.
• Sewing kit
• Ruler, rotary cutter
• Pencil or pen to trace pattern
