Printed Christmas Cards & Wrapping Paper- Sophie Fordham

A lovely day to spend with Sophie making your own hand made, bespoke Christmas cards and wrapping paper. Using a variety of relief printing methods, working with both reusable and traditional printing materials you will make blocks that can easily be used to print at home too, enabling you to produce a good quantity of cards and wrapping paper to give to your friends and family.  You will also have the opportunity to use a traditional printing press and different coloured tissue papers within your print to make unique one off cards. 
All abilities welcome!
Student requirements 

Old clothes and/or aprons
Images to inspire ( if you have something special in mind, Sophie will have collection of books to inspire too)
Wrapping paper to print on ( brown paper works well)
Cards to print on (I will supply printmaking paper)

Sophie will supply all other materials needed & usually charges the individual student for the materials they each use. This varies depending on the amount of lino they use etc, but its not normally more than £5 each.
