Patchwork with Pintucks & Texture
Workshop Information
In this class you will make a patchwork block using corded, uncorded, straight, crossed and curved pintucks. You may then use your block to make a cushion, tote bag or table runner. The block demonstrated will be 16” square but yours may be larger or smaller depending on your chosen finished item. You will discover how the pintucks usually associated with a crisp, white, cotton shirt can transform plain fabric into something very versitile, effective and striking.
Student Requirements
Sewing machine and power cable, foot control and sewing table
Basic sewing kit
Presser feet – pintuck foot and straight stitch foot (I used Bernina feet 46C, 1C, 31, 10C, 37 and the circular sewing attachment but these are al optional)
Cutting mat and rotary cutter
