Mariners Compass – Sunday

 
We are so excited that Petra has agreed to come and teach a class. For those of you who met her at the Christmas show or have looked on her website, her shops in Zutphen (www.petraprinspatchwork.com) and in Amsterdam (www.dutchquilts.com) are quite wonderful and all Petra’s quilts just have such a lovely vintage/classic relaxed and friendly look.  Petra is going to teach the Mariners Compass block, she sews a lot by hand in the traditional way.  During the day you will make one block, if you would like to stay for 2 days you can then design a complete Mariners Compass quilt, choosing your fabrics carefully for a real heirloom quilt sewn in the traditional way.
