Magical Puppet Theatre

Calling all children! You are invited to bring an enthusiastic adult for 2 days (Saturday 21st March & Saturday 4th April) of fun and creativity, starting with Georgie Adams reading inserts from her book to get you in the mood, inspired by the Railway Rabbit book to make a cardboard puppet theatre and produce a short puppet show. A magical puppet experience using a sewing machine to make and dress hand puppets, rabbit and patchwork quilt, paint and decorate a small puppet theatre and add an assortment of props for your own short show at the end of the 2 days.  You can create change and adapt the story and the characters as much or as little as you like.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Sewing machine in good working order with instruction book,
Sewing threads paper and fabric scissors
Scrap bag of fabrics, some calico for puppet body and stuffing
Paints will be available for you to use but anything that you might like to bring to make the atmosphere special to your story
Bring a cardboard box for your puppet theatre, we will have some
