Machine Drawn Appliquéd Christmas People

In this one off workshop you will learn a simplified way to draw figures and appliqué them to create a Christmas family wearing their Santa sweaters. You will learn some of the techniques Janine uses to draw and appliqué onto fabric. She will show you how, and help you to draw and design your own panels which you can then use for quilts, bags, cushions, needlecase, bookcover or pictures. Her sewing style is very relaxed, easy and free and very quickly you will be able to achieve a lot. 
Student requirements
sewing machine, feed dogs down and embroidery foot (Please Make sure your sewing machine has been recently PAT tested).sewing kit
pencil and paper
fabric scraps for appliqué, Sparkly fabric, Christmas fabrics, Felt
