Get to Know your Bernina 570 Machine
If you have invested in a Bernina and it’s a 570 and you feel you are not using it to its full potential, then this is the class for you.
(If you have bought their machine from Cowslip within the last year and have a voucher please call or email to make your booking.)
However, this class will NOT include the embroidery module as this will be covered at a different date.
We want you to embrace everything your wonderful Bernina machine is capable of doing.
This class will cover the following functions.
Straight stitch.
Zig-Zag.
Satin stitch.
Blind hem.
Overedge stitch.
Buttonholes.
Walking foot (if you have one)
Decorative stitches.
Alphabet.
Memory & Combination stitches.
BSR.
Free motion sewing.
¼ inch seams for patchwork.
Applique with blanket stitch.
Plus any other requests time permitting.
Requirements list.
Please bring your machine and everything which came with it.
Don’t forget your lead, foot control, instruction book and all the different feet etc.
Your sewing kit, including good quality threads in a variety of colours.
4 Fat Quarters of plain fabric or calico.
2 Fat Quarter quilt sandwiches.
Pins.
Scissors.
Pen or Pencil.
Note pad.
Rotary cutter, ruler & cutting mat. Jo has these in the classroom if you wish to use them.
