Panels, Embellishments, Texts and Unconventional Log Cabin
Workshop Information
Available Dates
In this workshop we will look at techniques to “make’ and ‘create’ your own fabric panels and a very simplified Log Cabin using a very easy and free technique influenced and inspired by the great “Quilts Below the Radar. You can use these panels to make simple projects like needle case, book folders, cushions or for larger patchwork pieces. We will also make simple embellishments of flowers, houses etc to appliqué onto your work and look at how you can play around with text and free machine write using prompts to create your own text (and maybe if time allows add colour using pens and paint). There are no rules, two days of just seeing where it takes you fabric play.
