Workshop Information
The inspiration for this quilt came from an Irish Quilt that was made in Co Sligo in the mid 19th Century.
Mrs Rogers seemed to find the time to make this beauty in spite of having 10 children.
The quilt is a mixture of Puss in the corner blocks and Broderie Perse.
You will need your loviest fabrics to make this quilt.
I metre of cream background.
Flower, birds prints for your Broderie Perse
I mixture of prints for the puss in corner blocks.
1.6 metres for cable border
1.6 metres for out border.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Rotary cutter, cutting board, ruler and pencil
Sewing machine, in good working order, with extension lead and instruction manual
