Workshop Information
An inspirational drawing and walking workshop with artist Karen Howse at Cowslip Workshops
Explore drawing in the environment of Cowslip, fields, farm and garden. Karen will guide you through simple drawing exercises. We will walk the surroundings of NewHouse Farm making small journeys with our sketchbooks.
Activities will explore the intuitive process of looking, feeling and drawing with graphite stick, pen and water-colour. No experience necessary.
Students requirements
Materials Provided:
Pencils, papers, water-colours, brushes, oil pastels, pens, rubber stamps
Processes:
Mark making/drawing, rubbings, colour wash, concertina book-making
Materials to bring:
Small sketchbook (A4 or smaller) drawing stuff, pencils, eraser, sharpener, pens etc, water-colours and brushes, papers for collage, Pritt stick.
Bring apron and dress for the weather with walking boots or wellies.
