A Dog in a day – Kate Toms

A mixed media artist, Kate Toms creates 3D characters as well as being a published author/illustrator of  many books for the very young. Needle felting is currently Kate’s favourite technique!
This workshop takes you through the process of making a small felted dog. Needle felting is a wonderfully simple technique whereby barbed felting needles are used to interlock the hand shaped wool fibres, thus forming a mass. Kate will take you through the various stages resulting in your own little dog at the end of the day. No needle felting experience is required to take part in this fun, one day workshop.
The use of tools and materials will be provided at a charge of £5 payable to Kate on the day.
