Design a Strippy Quilt
Workshop Information
The strippy quilt occupies a very special place in the British quilting tradition –just simple strips of fabric stitched together and quilted with bold, graphic patterns making dramatic and very “do-able” quilts. If you have hankered after wholecloth but lacked the confidence then a strippy quilt makes an excellent beginning. No design skills are necessary for this non-stitching class – kindergarten level ability with pencil, paper and scissors will do fine. Whether you are a beginning quilter, an improver or an expert you can plan your own strippy quilt in this class which also includes information on marking methods and quilting technique.
