Colourful Crochet – Beginners and more!

(this class is for beginners and competent crocheters.)
Come and spend the day learning how to crochet or learn a new crochet pattern. And produce some colourful crochet.
Learn how to crochet one or more of the following:
1. Granny Square
2. Willow Square
3. Granny Stripe
4. Little basket
You will be taught how to hold your crochet hook and tension your yarn, how to create a uniform piece of crochet and/or different crochet stitches to create ether the willow square, granny square or granny stripe. Beginners can try these too but will be competent enough to make a little basket. 
The following equipment is required:
Provided by me:
An inspirational yarn  kit with a mixture of coloured good quality DK yarn £10 (to be paid to Suzie on the day)
Additional DK yarn to purchase
(if you have an idea of colours you want to use then please let me know before the workshop and I will bring them along). 
Kits for the little basket in various colours £10
4mm crochet hooks for those who cannot source one
Brought by you:
4mm crochet hook (please avoid cheap hooks, especially wooden or bamboo ones as they can make your yarn harder to work with)
Scissors
Pen and Paper to make notes
DK yarn if you want to bring your own. (please avoid fluffy yarns, or yarns that split as these are harder to work with)
