Colour for Quiltmakers

Using colour is one of the most exciting and challenging aspects of working with fabric. It is an adventure that never gets tiresome or becomes over familiar because colour combinations always spring surprises and interest no matter how extensive one’s knowledge. By making small mock-ups of quilts, problem-solving exercises will be used to try out different ideas and to exploit some of the many properties of colour. This workshop offers a practical approach to learning more about using colour, the aim being to explore colour by building on each person’s own instinctive colour use and extending their range, knowledge and confidence. Suitable for any level of experience.
