Autumn woodland Landscape

Come and create your very own unique textile art autumn woodland landscape using appliqué and free motion embroidery. Bring some photos for inspiration or alternatively use samples and photos of mine to inspire you.
I will guide you through each stage of the process with demonstrations and hands on help.
 I will also show you how to mount your finished piece ready for framing.
The piece itself will measure 10” x 14”
I will provide the following at a cost of £10 per person
~ large selection of fabrics and embellishments
~ Piece of firm tarlatan scrim backing fabric to stitch your design onto
~ Piece of adhesive mount board
~A basic mount to use during construction of your piece.
You will need to bring,
~ Sewing machine with instruction booklet if possible.
~ Compatible darning/free motion foot.
~ General sewing kit to include fabric scissors, small embroidery scissors, hand sewing needles and size 10 beading needles
~ Size 75 and 90 machine embroidery needles
~ Frixion pen 0.7mm
~ Selection of machine threads either embroidery or sew all threads.
~ Reel of invisible thread suitable for use in a sewing machine (I would recommend either Monopoly or Gutermann)
~ Reel of White bobbin thread
Alison will have a variety of threads available if needed.
