Appliqué Inspiration, all year or Christmas!

During the weekend I will show how I do my way of template appliqué, I will have designs available  including a brand new applique quilt with lots of different floral inspiration, plus Christmas designs , simple or more long term.  I will help you make your own design if you prefer using paste ups to tell a story quilt.  The applique can include houses, animals whatever you would like, fun and plenty of inspiration.  Applique does not take that much fabric you just need to choose a nice inspirational background or have different backgrounds.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Basic sewing kit, to include Golden Eye appliqué needles, scissors, threads, etc
Sewing machine with ¼” foot and open toe 20 for appliqué as option to hand appliqué
Rotary cutting set (if available), paper & fabric scissors, threads to match fabrics
Tracing paper or layout pad, if wishing to alter basic design
Selection of fabrics that you would like to use, though we have plenty in the shop!!!
