3D Embroiderd Birds – Sarah Perry

This two day class is spaced out to allow plenty of time for hand sewing at home in between. We will be working in relaxed, fine,  hand embroidery, building up layers of work to give a life like picture of your chosen bird. 

 
Student requirements
 

Pictures of the bird you would like to make 2 or 3
Calico
4 and 6 inch embroidery hoop
Embroidery threads in appropriate colours
Fine sewing needles, scissors, thimble etc
Cotton or wool wadding
Fabric transfer pen or pencil

Day 2

Background fabric, this can be patchwork or quilted, or plain linen, (we can talk about it on day 1)

Between the shop and my own supplies we will have anything you can’t get.
