If wanting to make a hand appliquéd front we would suggest you come to this workshop and then book Sunday 3rd May to complete the piecrust cushion. This means you have a week to complete the top first.

If wanting to make a very simple small cushion with bondaweb you could just do it in a day.

Requirements

• A selection of cotton fabrics, this is an ideal way to use up small pieces however you will need one piece of fabric big enought for the back of the cushion.
• Button jar, decorative threads such as cotton perle, stranded embroidery thread, ribbons
• Basic sewing kit to include a large needle for thick threads
• Rotary cutting equipment if available, if not we can provide
• Fabric and paper scissors
• 50cms 2oz wadding and calico or lining fabric
• cushion pad – feather cushion pads are available to buy in the shop 14″-28″
• Sewing machine in good working order with instruction book, ¼” foot and walking foot if available
