Making a Commonplace book

The Commonplace book was popular in Victorian and Edwardian times. A dictionary definition is.. Book in which are entered passages and poems, remarks, epigrams etc. Original or borrowed from the works of others. I would add recipes, letters and illustrations/ photographs to that.
We will use a French link stitch binding and a soft, wrap around cover. There will be tuition if wanted in watercolour and drawing techniques and time to make some other small books.
All paper and bookbinding materials supplied.I will also bring some cover material but please bring your own if you wish.
Good conversation, inspiration and food guaranteed.
Please bring your basic painting and drawing kit plus a sketchbook…
