“My first visit to Norway opened my eyes to the lovely folk art and traditional skills that are still celebrated in such a wonerful way there. I saw little wooden horses that are used as handles on old-fashioned irons. These simply carved and painted horses are a delight and were my inspiration for this cushion.”
The back of the cushion is also pieced with a single horse appliquè, so the cushion is reversable.
