Pieced Patchwork for Christmas – Helen Brookham

This is a 1, 2 or 3 day workshop.
Whether a beginner or more experienced there is lot’s to inspire you on this class. Helen will show you how to make a pieced stocking, little festive picture wall hanging or Santa sack with various patterns available to copy or take inspiration from. You will have fun as well as learning new techniques. 
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
·       BASIC SEWING KIT to include: paper and fabric scissors, pins, sewing threads to match or grey or colour to blend with all, for piecing, also to match any appliqué fabric, Basic rotary cutting equipment if available etc. 
·       SEWING MACHINE in good working order with instruction book.  Pencils and note book
·      FABRICS: bring whatever Christmas fabrics you have available. Re-cycled fabrics from clothes can also be used.
·      PICTURE FABRICS: to be cut up
·      EMBROIDERY THREADS: a selection or hand sewing metallic.
