Flour Paste Screen Printing

Workshop Information

Price: £88.00

Starting Friday with a brief introduction and coating of screens to allow them to dry over night, during the weekend learn to make complex prints on fabric by using silk screens treated with flour  – a  basic kitchen staple. Create designs, one off crackle effects, mark making and use of stencils. Fabric paint and pigment will be included in the fee, but you will need to purchase a screen, if you do not have one. Approx cost £12 – 17 from Art van Go, this will open your world to a whole new dimension in quilt making and marking.

This is a warm welcome to Cowslip, Vineta’s work is trully inspirational and she is a member of Kindred Spirits.

Please wear clothing suitable for painting and bring an apron and plastic gloves.
Please note the weekend will start with a short evening session on Friday 24 April to enable the first batch of screens to dry overnight – accompanied with a cup of tea or coffee, show of quilts and a chat.Requirements:
