Jo’s Advent Quilt

Christmas is such an exciting time especially for Children, this is the alternative advent quilt where you open a door each day and take out a charm and hang it on the tree, culminating with the double doors on Christmas day to hang the star or angel on the top of the tree, most of us collect little buttons or charms and this is an excellent way to use them, the houses can be bonded if you want to be quick or traditional appliqué is my favorite, but you can make the quilt have all the excitement and coziness of Christmas in the snow……. I hope by starting in August this will give you time to finish!!!!
