Toile Medallion – Sue Watters

Sue has devised this lovely medallion quilt so that you can get well into making it in the two days. She has used traditional toile de joile fabric in antique reds and blues. The whole quilt has an old feel, finished with either hand or machine quilting.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

1.50 metres of blue or red Toile
60cm of a dark fabric for around the toile centre block and for in the quilt blocks
4 different ¼ metres of lights
4 different ¼ metres of mediums or darks to go with the lights
75cm of brown check for inner & outer strip borders and star points
Sewing kit, cutting board & cutter, sewing machine & thread.
Optional – 6.5” square ruler
