Square Eyes

Learn how to create a stunning quilt using only squares of either the same size or various sizes.  Suitable for beginners or the more experienced Helen will teach you how to cut out your squares with a rotary cutter, join them together and start creating a beautiful quilt.  Some students have taken this method a step further and added an applique border around the edge giving a really beautiful finished quilt. 
 
 
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
 

Sewing machine in good working order and instruction book.
Rotary Cutter, ruler and mat if available
Basic sewing kit – to include threads, paper and fabric scissors
To make a double quilt – Cotton material totalling 5 metres.  You will need at least 10 different materials, but no more than 20 different ones ie 20 fat quarters, 10 ½ metres or scraps big enough to cut squares.
To make a single quilt – Cotton material totalling 1 ½ metres
