Workshop Information
A new slant on Housey Housey, using pieced type blocks incorporating Houses churches old building like the town hall, lifeboat house old steps and alleys, making the fabrics tell thestorey, bring your own pictures and ideas to adapt if you do not want to copy mine.
Just a little note, Jo will be at Rock for 2 morning sessions.
This is a new look at Housey housey giving it a Cornish or whatever your county feel, you could just take a street or lots of your favorite views and buildings events and turn them into a special quilt large or small, the fabrics that you find can really help to tell the story, I can help with simple drawing and will have basic designs that you can adapt, these do take time to draw and bring to life and the emphasis is on simple drawing, if you can be patient enough a wonderful quilt can emerge.
This class will include traditional piecing with templates and free machine and hand embroidery which ever you prefer to use. At the moment I am working on my Cornish quilt ready for St Pirans day !!!!!!!
