Hedgerow Blackberry Baskets

These little baskets are ideal for eggs, herbs, flowers or berries.  They are a simple design and we will be incorporating different coloured willows and hedgerow material to give each basket its own individual look.  The technique we will be using is adapted from a traditional Irish basket which was originally used as a calf muzzle at weaning.
Carol will have tools but bring sharp secateurs if you have them.  The baskets are made over a mould and you will use a pudding basin to shape your baskets so bring along a small pudding basin if you have one, if not then please let us know and Carol will make sure she bring some along for you to use.
