Design- an -angel – Mandy Shaw

A great workshop where we all start with one 16 inch basic body, then choose from lots of samples and patterns of hair styles , clothes, shoes,  wings, faces . Just let your creative juices flow and the designer in you come out.  No two angels will ever be the same! 
Please bring with you:
·      Fat quarter of tea dyed calico for face and body
·      Bag of polyester toy stuffing
·      2 or 3 fat quarters of cotton fabrics for dress pantaloons/petticoat
·      Fat quarter of fleece or felt for jacket/coat or cardigan
·      Wool, embroidery cottons, fleece fabric, string, raffia or fabric rags for hair (I will have lots of options with me)
·      A bag of goodies with assortments of buttons, beads, and embroidery threads in it to adorn your angel.
·      Sewing machine and lead
·      Sewing kit, including a wooden chopstick for stuffing
·      Lipstick for blusher
·      Pigma pens for faces (I do have some to share on the day)
·      Scraps for the wings, at least 10” x 8”. This could be silky, shiny, felt, fabric, anything will go.
