Painting with your Needle – Hand Embroidered Pictures
Workshop Information
Whether it is a corner of your allotment, a little run of roadside verge crammed with wildflowers, or sheep grazing under a tree, you will learn all the stitches you need and make a good start on a simple hand embroidered picture, or continue with a piece of work you have started. For the first hour or so we will work on small sample pieces of linen which you can use to make up a little stitch sample book. In the afternoon, we will make a start on your picture. Suitable for all levels…including beginners, or people who have not embroidered for a long time.
Student Requirements
Those of you familiar with Caroline’s workshops will know that she brings with her a generous selection of precious vintage textiles to use in the workshops, and makes her collection of vintage and new threads for both machine and hand stitching available to all at a cost of £10 payable to Caroline on the day. You may of course bring and use your own materials if you prefer.

embroidery hoop if you have one (CZ will have a few to borrow if not)
any images which have inspired you, although Caroline will also have these
