Okehampton

Okehampton – 2 day Quilt measures 72” x 76”
This Medallion style quilt features many different traditional techniques, including English Paper Pieced Hexagons, Clamshells, hand appliqué and the art of fussy cutting. We will be working on different sections of this quilt over the class time acquiring the knowledge to complete this quilt at home.
The pattern is included and the paper piecing starter kit will be available to buy from Karen.
Requirements
To make the complete quilt you will need

2 m border fabric
1.5 m background
50 cm feature floral for the center fussy cut star
50 cm vine fabric
10-20 cm of a large variety of light/medium/dark fabrics
(Please bring at least 20 choices; I have used approx. 60 different fabrics)
You will also need –
Basic sewing equipment – scissors, pins, etc.
Sewline glue stick
Sewline pencil or fine marking pencil
Template plastic
Neutral thread for hand piecing

You can choose to do this class as a technique class, if so please bring along a selection of light/medium/dark fabrics and approx 1 metre of background fabric.
