Shoo Fly Quilt

Workshop Information

Course Type: Workshop
Instructor: Sue Maddox
Duration: 1 Day
Price: £47.50

This is a fun small quilt (55 ½” square) using 3” shoo fly blocks arranged in a zigzag setting.
You can use every colour of the rainbow as I did and a whole variety of backgrounds for each small block. Or maybe you would prefer to use many shades of one colour, it is entirely up to you. I would wait until you have lots of your blocks made before selecting a setting/border fabric. I changed my mind several times before I chose the blue! You should get a good number of blocks made on the day and will go through putting them together. Techniques used are rotary cutting and machine piecing. Suitable for confident beginners and those with more experience.
