“Get to know your Bernina better”

This workshop is designed to improve your sewing skills and get the most out of your Bernina sewing machine. Jane will do little demonstrations and you will all go home with a selection of samples.
DEMONSTRATION TO INCLUDE.

Memory.
Combining patterns.
Twin needle work.
Inserting Zips and invisible zips.   
Walking foot with quilting guide bars.
BRS. ( Bernina Stitch Regulator)
Piping.   
Curved piecing.
Skinny strip borders.
Perfect seam matching on patchwork.

If students have any requests  tell us in advance to ensure Jane will  have all she needs for the demonstration. All Bernina series welcome.
REQUIREMENTS LIST
Machine Complete with slide on table, cable, foot control, pattern card if applicable, plus all the different feet you have.
Fabric. This could be simply calico or fabric from stash or 6 fat quarters.
Threads. (Including some contrast colours and some embroidery threads)
Scissors.
Cutting Mat. Rotary cutter and ruler. (Jo has all in the room should you wish to use hers)
Sewing kit.
Normal zips.
Invisible zip ( 8” or longer)
Piping cord.  ( I will supply, no charge)
