Here comes Everybody

This two day workshop will give you options, using a minimal colour palette of 4 colours
Day one, we will make the improvisational free style patchwork  which is a perfect way to create a background, and allowing it to grow block by block. They key to achieving the balance is to select two/three colours and a highlight colour. However there will be time to play and plan the colour 
Day two, working from a pattern you will be able to stitch the embellishments for your panel including people, houses, flowers. however you could also include any images if you wish to work on a specific theme.
Although this is a two day workshop each day can be booked as a stand alone.
Materials requirements 
Sewing machine, feed dogs down and free machine foot.
Sewing kit
Stitch and tear
Neutral fabric for stitching the embellishments.
Scrap fabrics for the applique
Pencil, eraser
Day one, as above but also to include:
Larger pieces of fabric in the colour palette of your choice
Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
