The Bluebell wood

Come and create your very own textile art bluebell wood using appliqué and free motion embroidery. Bring some photos for inspiration or alternatively use samples and photos of mine to inspire you.
I will guide you through each stage of the process with demonstrations and hands on help.
I will finish by showing you how to mount your finished piece ready for framing.
The piece itself will measure 10” x 14”
I will provide the following at a cost of £10 per person
~ Large selection of fabrics and embellishments
~ Piece of tarlatan scrim backing fabric to stitch your design onto
~ Basic white mount to use whilst creating your piece
~Piece of adhesive mountboard
You will need to bring,
~ Sewing machine with instruction booklet if possible
~ Compatible darning/free motion embroidery foot
~ General sewing kit to include fabric scissors, small embroidery scissors, hand sewing needles and size 10 beading needles
~ Frixion pen 0.7mm
~ Selection of machine threads either embroidery or sew all threads
~ Reel of invisible thread suitable for use in a sewing machine (I would recommend either Monopoly or Gutermann)
~ Reel of white bobbin thread
I will have a variety of threads available to use if needed.
