If you have never used a rotary cutter, this is a great quilt to get you started and will give you the confidence you need.  For those who know what they are doing, then you may just finish this quilt in the workshop! Come and have a fun day. Rotary cutting and machine sewing.

Fabric Requirements for Boardwalk Quilt
One jelly roll or forty 2½in x 42in strips cut from your stash
1.8m fabric for sashing and border
BEFORE CLASS
Sorting the colours is a very important part of this quilt and can be quite time consuming. 
You want your colours to blend into each other and shade from dark to light. Choose thirty-three strips and sort them how you want them to be sewn together.  The remaining seven strips will be used for a scrappy binding. 
If you want to leave doing this until class then please do so especially if this is your first quilt.  Don’t stress too much about this as we will go through everyone’s selection before starting.
