Decorative Quilt Edgings
Make your quilts extra special using a scallop or hexagon edging. Helen will show you how to make either of both of these edgings.
Requirements
Bring a fat quarter/wadding and backing (for each sample) that has been simply quilted and you can use this as a sample for your edging. Alternatively if you have a quilt ready to go Helen can work out with you how to measure to get the right size edging.
Fat quarter for binding for each sample
30 hexagon papers (whatever size you like but nothing smaller than 5/8″ or nothing bigger than 1 ¼”) You can prepare these in your chosen fabric or make on the day. For a sample only.
