Finding Your Design

Have your ever wanted to create your own designs to turn into a quilt or panel?
You will experiment with simple techniques of drawing and mark making to create images, including flowers and botanicals or anything you would like for your design. 
We will free machine embroider to create images and look at putting colours together.
Sewing machine, feed dogs down and embroidery foot.
Sewing kit
Magazines, books, ideas and photos, any images that you have that you would like to use.
Scissors, pencil rubber
Fabric, calico works well and a scrap bag
Stitch and tear.
The tutor will also bring a selection of art materials for you to use.
