Commemorative Embroidered Wreath

We will be stitching a beautiful wreath to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles, although if you would prefer the central motif can be omitted or replaced to celebrate your own special occasion. Your kit (special discounted price for those on the workshop £35 payable to Vicki on the day) will include hand dyed fine linen printed with the wreath design, DMC threads to complete the embroidery, full instructions and a lovely keepsake box. A general sewing kit, including a selection of hand embroidery needles (size 10-12) and a pair of embroidery scissors will be needed. The shop does have a good selection if you need to stock up. Embroidery hoops will be available to use on the day but please do feel free to bring your own if you have a 7 or 8” hoop.
We will start the day practicing the stitches needed to complete the wreath on extra fabric, which you can then always use as a mini sampler, before moving on to starting the final piece. Hand embroidery is not quick so it is very unlikely you will finish on the day, but we will cover everything you need to ensure you end up with a beautiful commemorative project.
