Beginners Hand Applique

This will be an introduction to our method of hand appliqué possibly with an Easter or summer theme for those who would like. This class will be template free, which once you get used to is so quick accurate and rewarding, simple floral or animal blocks will be available, discussion on fabric colours, texture and borders, how to get the lovely little stitches, fun and relaxing small blocks for portable project!  
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
 

Basic sewing kit rotary cutting equipment if available.
Working sewing machine in good order with attachments and instruction manual
Scrap bag or 6 toning fat quarters for appliqué.
Matching threads for piecing and fine cotton thread for appliqué.
Gold eye number 12 needles for appliqué work, one is provided on the day.
Small sharp scissors if available.
