Appliquéd Lampshade

Saturday 8th & Saturday 29th July
On the first day you will make your background of grass and sky to appliqué the houses and trees onto, using your sewing machine.
On the second day you will join together and hand stitch onto the shade.
Requirements
Sewing machine in good working order, with feet and manual
General sewing kit
Dark grey thread
Rotary cutter and small square rulers
About 1 metre of Bondaweb or Stem & Seam Light
A good selection of scraps of fabric, to include: stripes/checks/spots/small florals (tilda fabrics work well)/plains plus some green and brown for trees
Plain Linen for drum
Lampshade – can be an old one but needs to be straight
