Why not use up some more of those left over bits and pieces you have in your stash to make a hard wearing table mat or rug for the floor. This mat is heat proof and perfect for taking dishes straight from the oven to the table. Made larger at your leisure you will have a floor rug so strong It will last and last, with every piece of fabric having a special memory.
Students requirements
Left over fabric, old curtain, clothes or bedding
(Tear into 5cm strips)
A large bodkin
Prit stick
Ball of string, (I use Nutscene, they have such amazing colours)
Sarah will bring the Sisal rope at about 25p meter
